Where do you think the legacy of Michael Hedges is headed?

I say this given the premise that i believe Michael hedges to be as important to the guitar as Jimi Hendrix.

There are Facebook people who like it but I mean, really, where do you think it's headed?

Will his biography ever be written while people who knew him are alive and remember the music and the person?

Will the vaults ever be opened so we can see the unpublished work?

Finally, I say this as one who hopes the truth of music history is written properly. I am a fan, not a fanatic.

I was a fanatic, now just a distant fan with fond memories.....
I think his legacy is slowly spiraling downward and someday he will just be occasionally mentioned in musical appreciation classes....

You are right. The true history of Michael Hedges is fading into forgotten memory.

We tried our best....
